Did Andy Dick Pull A “KKKramer”?
So, I have to ask, will the trend for white comedians whose careers are on the decline be to yell the word ‘ni**er’ from the stage to grab headlines.
Who knows but, hot on the heels of the Michael ‘KKKramer’ Richards incident come another white comic who may have let the word fly.
According to TMZ.com (the same site that broke the Michael Richards video) comes another interesting bit of info.
They are citing sources that say comedian Andy Dick hopped up on a stage at L.A.’s Improv over the weekend and yelled the N-word from the stage.
The story goes that Dick was in the audience and was drunk or high (no excuse). He was heckling fellow comedian Ian Bragg and then jumped up on stage with him. The two went back and forth and the subject of Michael Richards came up. As Dick was exiting the stage, he suddenly grabbed the mic and yelled, “You’re all a bunch of niggers!”
Now, if this is true, I have to say, first, that Andy Dick is an idiot and, secondly, he must really be in need of attention.
More importantly, however, we should only expect more of this as washed-up comics look for ways to make themselves relevant again.
