About Me

The first thing to know about me is that I am just another guy with an opinion and I am not hesitant to express it.

In 2001, I started a web site called blackmystory.com in response to the aftermath of the uprising (”riots”) in Cincinnati. It evolved into a news site that I ran for over 5 years. After a hiatus of nearly 6 months, blackmystory.com was relaunched as a blog where I could really express my opinions on the news and issues that capture my attention and, hopefully, yours as well.

I currently reside in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area with my wife and son. I have worked in the IT industry for the past decade and, therefore, am somewhat of a computer geek.

But, because I, like most other black folks, can walk and chew gum at the same time, I can be passionate about many things, including the concerns of black people.
